Delicious, low fat dessert that won't make you guilty! You can also make the cake vegan by substituting the egg for 1 tbsp milled flaxseed and 2 tbsp water.

Recipe Ingredients for Sugar Free Applesauce Cake

2 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1/2 cup, dry, yields Oats
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1/2 tsp Allspice, Ground
1/2 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
1 dash Salt, Table
1 large Egg, Whole
2 cup Applesauce
2 oz Apple Juice, Frozen Concentrate, Unsweetened, Undiluted
2 tbsp Corn Oil
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Recipe Directions for Sugar Free Applesauce Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit.

  2. Spray 9x13" baking pan with Pam.

  3. Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

  4. Blend wet ingredients and combine with dry.

  5. The mixture should be the same consistency as muffin batter. Pour into pan and smooth top with a moist spatula.

  6. Bake for 50 minutes, allow to cool for 10 minutes.
