Recipe Ingredients for Sugar Free Apple Pie Filling

3/4 cup water
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
1 tbsp butter
20 sticks Splenda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
4 apples

Recipe Directions for Sugar Free Apple Pie Filling

  1. Start out by heating the oven up to 350F. While that's happening, get a small saucepan. Boil the water. Mix together the cornstarch and cold water in a glass, then mix this into the boiling water. Stir this constantly on low heat for 2 minutes, then take it off the heat.

  2. Melt the butter slightly and blend it and the Splenda in to the pot that just came off the heat, with the cornstarch and water. Add in the two spices.

  3. Peel the apples, then take out their cores and dice them into bite-sized pieces. Put these into a bowl. Pour the mixture of cornstarch and spices over the apples and mix thoroughly.

  4. Lay one pie shell down into a metal pie pan. Put the fruit into this shell, then cover with the second pie shell. Crimp the edges of the pie shut. Cut a few vents into the top shell to let steam escape. Feel free to use pretty designs here!

  5. Now bake for 45 minutes. Let cool, and enjoy!
