Recipe Ingredients for Suffolk Rusks

8 oz Self Raising Flour
4 oz All purpose flour
1 pinch of salt
1 tbsp of sugar
4 oz butter
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Suffolk Rusks

  1. Mix all ingredients together to make a dough, and use either water or milk to bind.

  2. roll the dough out to about 1 centimeter thick, and use a medium size cookie cutter to cut out about 15 or so rusks.

  3. Bake for 10 minutes, and take them out of the oven. Cut them in half length wise, and put back in the oven until they turn golden brown.
