Nice way of roasting parsnips - whole in oil, wrapped in foil, with spices

Recipe Ingredients for Sue's Roasted Parsnips with Cumin yummy

3/4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
250 g parsnips (4 parsnips)
1 tsp cumin

Recipe Directions for Sue's Roasted Parsnips with Cumin yummy

  1. Preheat oven to 200C.

  2. Cut or tear off large piece of aluminium foil and place on baking tin/dish.

  3. Wash and dry whole parnips, and rub with extra virgin olive oil and cumin. Keep remaining olive oil in the foil.

  4. Seal foil wrapping, to make a loose but closed parcel.

  5. Bake in oven for 30-40 mins.

  6. Cut off top and tail, and serve with main meal.
