The recipe for Sturkey?s Creamy Balsamic Vinaigrette, was created by Chef Paul Sturkey and his wife, Pastry Chef, Pam in their home kitchen in West Chester, Ohio in 1998. Chef Paul wanted the salad to be the signature salad for their first restaurant ?Sturkey?s? and so to make it unique he added toasted almonds, sun dried cherries, and feta cheese. It was Pam?s idea to make the vinaigrette creamy so that it would evenly coat all of the salad greens, and ensure every bite of the salad would taste awesome.
