Family recipe that's actually meant for ravioli filling.

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Shells

1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. ground sausage
1/2 c. onion
3 eggs
1 c. spinach
1 c. bread crumbs
1 T. parsley
1 t. nutmeg
2 cloves garlic
1 T. Light Olive Oil
6 oz. parmesan cheese
4/5 box jumbo pasta shells
24 oz. Newman's Own Marinara

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Shells

  1. Cook pasta.

  2. Brown beef and sausage with onion.

  3. Place spinach in food processor until fine.

  4. Mix meat, onion, eggs, spinach, bread crumbs, parsley, nutmeg, garlic, olive oil, and cheese by hand.

  5. Fill pasta with meat and cheese mixture.

  6. Place in baking dish.

  7. Cover with sauce.

  8. Bake at 350 for 35 - 45 minutes, covering with mozzarella cheese, if desired.
