These Giant mushrooms are hardy enough to stuff stuff with sausageand cheese.

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms

2 mushrooms (Portabella)
1 tsp olive oil
6 oz sausage (Italian)
1/4 cup onion (diced)
2 garlic cloves(minced)
1/4 tbsp basil (chopped)
4 oz cream cheese
2 oz cheese (parmesan, Mozzarella, asaigo etc.)

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms

Clean the moshrooms,remove the stemsand scrapeout the black gills. In a large skillet, heat oil.Cook the mushroomsfor approx 10 minutes, turningafter about5 minutes. Place in a baking dish large enough to hold them. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook sausage over med heat in a lge skillet, remove from pan, pour off all but 1 tbsp fat. Return pan to heat and cook the onions and garlic until tender. Return the sausages to the pan with the onions and garlic, Add 1/2 the spaghetti sauce and basil and mix well
