Recipe Ingredients for stuffed peppers

6 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 cup Rice, White, Long-grain, Regular, Cooked
2 large Egg, Whole
2 cup Tomato Sauce
1 large Onions
544 grams Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
1/2 cup, shredded Mozzarella, Whole Milk Cheese

Recipe Directions for stuffed peppers

Empty the peppers by cutting the top and boil them in water for 5 minutes. Cook the meat and the onions together and drain the fat. Once the meat is cooked and drained mix the tomato sauce, the rice and the eggs and stuff the peppers with it. Put some shredded cheese on top of the stuffed peppers to keep moisture in and bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
