Green pepper halves stuffed with hamburger and rice; topped with spaghetti sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Peppers

32 oz Ground Beef
1 cup Rice
5 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
52 oz Spaghetti Sauce Traditional

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Peppers

  1. Cook rice

  2. Mix with raw hamburger

  3. Add salt and pepper to mix

  4. Cut peppers in half and clean them

  5. Stuff meat mixture into peppers

  6. Pour tomato sauce on top

  7. Bake at 400 degrees in an aluminum foil pan with aluminum foil on top for 1 hour or until the hamburger is done through the center.

  8. Sprinkle with mozzerella cheese, if desired.
