Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Peppers

2 portion ( yield from 1/2 lb raw meat ) Beef, Ground, 85% Lean Meat / 15% Fat, Crumbles
0.5 small Onions
1 cup dry White Rice
1 cup Diced Tomatoes with Italian Herbs
1 tbsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Onion Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
2 serving Spaghetti Sauce, Meatless, Canned
1 serving Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 serving 2% Milk Reduced Fat Mild Cheddar
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water
4 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
4 serving 2% Milk American Singles
1 serving Spaghetti Sauce, Meatless, Canned

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Peppers

  1. brown hamburger

  2. add onion, and seasonings

  3. cook until onion is tender

  4. add water, tomatoes, sauce and rice, worchestershire, and soy

  5. simmer until rice tenders

  6. add cheese, stir until melted

  7. put mixture into halved, seeded green peppers that are laying in a pam sprayed pan.

  8. bake at 400 for 25 min. covered, 15 uncovered.

  9. add shredded cheese on top and cook for another 5 min until cheese is melted
