Stuffed peppers with italian sausage

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Peppers

2 green peppers
1 large onion
2 cups tomato sauce
8 tbsp parmesan cheese
2 cups mushrooms
4 oz. italian sausage

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Peppers

  1. Brown sausage. Saute peppers, onion, and mushrooms with remaining grease, water and oil oil mist, sprinkle heavily with no-salt garlic and herb blend and no-salt salad or table herb blend. Add oregano and thyme if available.

  2. Add tomato sauce and sausage crumbles to mixture and season to taste.

  3. Cut green peppers in half and steam in microwave. Top each pepper with 1/4 of sauce mixture and 2 tbsp parmesan cheese. Broil or microwave for 1 minute.
