Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Peppers

1.5 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 serving ( 3 oz ) Beef, Ground, 85% Lean Meat / 15% Fat, Crumbles
0.5 cup Rice, Brown, Long-grain, Cooked
1 serving Tomato Sauce
1/4 tsp Italian Seasoning
1 serving Diced Tomatoes in Sauce
1 serving Cheddar

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Peppers

Cook 2 cups of brown rice per the instructions. Brown 1 lb ground beef. Add 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce and 1 8 oz can of diced tomatoes to the meat. Add the brown rice when fully cooked and stir all ingredients together. Add 3 tbsp Italian seasonings. Chop the tops off the green peppers and boil for about 4 minutes- Peppers should still be somewhat crispy. Stuff the peppers with the mixture and top with shredded cheese. Bake at 400 degrees until cheese is melted and bubbly.
