Stuffed Peppers Recipe

Peppers stuffed with ground turkey, rice and tomato sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Peppers

2 green peppers
1/2 c chopped onions
1 1/4 lb lean ground turkey
1/2 c brown rice
15 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 c water
1/4 c mozzarella cheese

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Peppers

  1. Brown turkey and onion

  2. Add rice and most of tomato sauce plus a 1/2 c water and simmer 10-15 minutes

  3. Clean peppers and cut in half

  4. Spray cake pan and place peppers in pan

  5. Salt inside of peppers

  6. Stuff peppers with mixture (will overflow)

  7. Top mixture in peppers with remaining tomato sauce and cheese

  8. Bake at 350 or 375 for 45 minutes
