Stuffed green peppers with pasta sauce

Recipe Ingredients for stuffed peppers

4 green bell peppers
1/4 cup onion, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
1 garlic clove
1 tsp dry basil
1 tbsp parsley
1 tsp worchestershire sauce
1 cup brown rice, cooked
1 cup pasta sauce
1/2 lb ground turkey
8 oz tomato sauce, no salt added

Recipe Directions for stuffed peppers

  1. chop onion, celery, garlic and saute in pan sprayed with canola spray.

  2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.

  3. Mix in rice and pasta sauce with seasoning and worchestershire.

  4. Cut tops off pepper, clean out seeds and stuff with meat mixture.

  5. Spray pan and put peppers into pan.

  6. Pour tomato sauce over peppers.

  7. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour, covered with foil.
