Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Peppers

1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs (I use vigo seasoned)
1 lbs ground beef
4 peppers (green, red, yellow or orange)
15 1/2 oz Sloppy Joe Sauce (1 large can Manwich)
1 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp Garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Peppers

  1. Oven at 350

  2. Cut peppers "lids" and empty out.

  3. Mix beef, bread crumbs, egg. Add salt and garlic powder to taste (I use seasoned salt).

  4. Spoon a tbsp of sloppy joe sauce in each pepper, then a tbsp of meat, then some sauce, then some more meat until pepper is stuffed. Do this to all the peppers.

  5. Place all the peppers in a oven-safe glass pan. If you had any left over sauce, pour it over all the peppers.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes (or until beef is completely cooked).

  7. Serve over rice (not included in the calorie count)
