Peppers stuffed with beef and rice

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Peppers

4 green peppers
1 lb ground beef
28 oz tomato sauce
1/2 onion
1/2 cup minute rice
1 T minced garlic

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Peppers

  1. Brown beef and onions, add garlic at the end of browning.

  2. Add 1/2 cup dry minute rice and about 1/2 can of tomato sauce (make a soupy consistency)

  3. Simmer for 5 min

  4. Pour enough tomato sauce in baking dish to coat bottom.

  5. Cut top off of peppers and place into baking dish.

  6. Stuff peppers full of rice/meat mixture

  7. Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers

  8. Cover and bake at 375 for 45 min
