These are crockpot stuffed peppers.

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Peppers

3 green bell peppers
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 1/4 cup tomato sauce
1 small onion
1 cup brown rice

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Peppers

  1. Cut off tops of bell peppers and scrape out all the seeds and cut out the white ribbin in the inside, as this makes the pepper bitter.

  2. Chop up onion and saute in some cooking spray until soft.

  3. Add meat in with onion and cook through. season mixture with Italian seasoning, season salt, sea salt and pepper.

  4. Follow the directions to cook the rice.

  5. Add cooked rice to beef mixture and 1 cup of spaghetti sauce.

  6. Fill the peppers with the meat/rice mixture and set in crockpot.

  7. Cover peppers with remaining meat mix and spaghetti sauce and turn on high for 2 hours or until peppers are tender!
