Aloo paratha is an indian bread stuffed with boiled potato.

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Paratha

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 large potato, peeled, quartered
4 tsp oil
1/4 tsp pepper, hot, powdered
1 salt to taste
3/4 cup water

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Paratha

  1. add salt to taste to the wheat flour and knead to a smooth dough using required water.

  2. keep aside.

  3. boil potato with salt to taste.

  4. mash thoroughly, adding the chillie powder and salt.

  5. divide into four portions.

  6. divide the dough into four portions and make a smooth ball of each.

  7. roll out the dough ball to about three inch diameter to make a small chappati

  8. place one portion of the mashed potato in the centre of the rolled chappati.

  9. gather the outer edges, close the chappati and seal and make a ball.

  10. now roll out the stuffed ball once again into a round chappati about 4 inch diameter.

  11. heat griddle.

  12. bake the chappati.

  13. add 1/2 tsp oil to the outer ridge.

  14. flip the chappati over add another 1/2 tsp oil.

  15. cook till done.
