Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Green Peppers

1 large yellow onion
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup uncooked long grain white rice
1/2 cup water
6 green bell peppers
16 ounce tomato sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Green Peppers

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Saute onion and garlic in cooking spray for 2 minutes. Season beef then brown in skillet. Drain fat. Add water, 1 can of tomato sauce and rice. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
