Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Cabbage Soup

4 cup Chicken Stock
15 oz Tomatoes
8 oz Tomato Sauce
1.5 cup, chopped Carrots
6 cup, shredded Cabbage, Savoy
1.5 tsp Allspice, Ground
1.5 tsp Spices Ground Coriander
1 tbsp Paprika
16 oz (raw) Ground Turkey
2 cup Rice, Brown, Medium-grain, Cooked

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Cabbage Soup

  1. Brown turkey in stock pot and season with the spices. You can add more spices to your taste too.

  2. Chop onion and carrots and add to the pot to soften.

  3. Chop cabbage and put into pot to wilt.

  4. Add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce and combine with other ingredients.

  5. Add chicken stock to cover. You can add a bit of water if there is not enough broth.

  6. Bring to boil and then simmer for about 10 minutes.

  7. While soup is simmering, cook the rice as per directions.

  8. Serve soup with a serving of rice on top.

  9. It is best to cook the rice separately and add it to your serving so it doesn't overcook and fall apart.
