Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Cabbage

1 head cabbage
1/2 cup of lentils
2 cup brown rice cooked
1 cup carrot
1 cup onion
1/2 cup celery
3 cups broth
1 tsp caraway seeds
2 cups tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Cabbage

  1. Pull 12 large leaves from the cabbage and par boil until cooked (about 10 minutes) Cool in ice water to stop cooking

  2. Cook 1 cup of brown rice and 1/2 cup of lentils in broth for approximately 30-40 minutes. Saute onion carrots and celery and add to rice with caraway seed.

  3. Stuff cabbage leaves and roll in to a lightly greased pan.

  4. Cover with sauce and cover with foil.

  5. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
