Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Cabbage from Linda

3 lbs ground round
20 cabbage leaves, if large
1 cup rice
1 teaspoon pepper
3 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 medium onion, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg, optional as is ketchup
52 oz tomato soup

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Cabbage from Linda

  1. cook rice with 1.5 cups water and salt. cool.

  2. mix together ground round, pepper, onion, paprika, onion, garlic, optional egg or ketchup.

  3. boil cabbage to soften leaves, then roll mixture in balls and wrap in cabbage. mix two large tomato soup cans with 1 can water & pour over cabbage rolls placed in a roaster.

  4. cover and bake @ 350 for 1/2 hour then 300 for at least 3 hours.
