Low-calorie ginger and garlic beef and noodles inside cabbage leaves.

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed cabbage leaves, Asian style

1 lb lean ground beef
3 oz cellophane noodles
7 leaves green cabbage
3 cloves garlic
1 oz fresh ginger
1 tsp fish sauce
2 carrots
1/2 white onion
1 T sesame oil

Recipe Directions for Stuffed cabbage leaves, Asian style

  1. Steam cabbage leaves and set aside to cool.

  2. Brown beef with garlic, ginger, fish sauce, onion and sesame oil.

  3. Grate carrots and set aside.

  4. Cook noodles as instructed and set aside.

  5. Combine beef, carrots and noodles in a large bowl and mix well.

  6. Remove tough middles of cabbage leaves. Fill with filling and roll up.

  7. Serve warm or cold, as desired.
