Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed bell peppers w/turkey

5 med Bell peppers
1 1/2 lbs Turkey
1 1/4 ounces Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 cup Hunts Tomato Sauce
1 Egg White
1 slice Whole Wheat bread
2 tsps garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper

Recipe Directions for Stuffed bell peppers w/turkey

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Cut tops of off bell peppers

  3. Blanche bell peppers then set to dry out for a minimum of 15mintues (this allows them to cool)

  4. Place bell peppers in shallow casserole dish

  5. Combine ground trukey and all ingredients in larege mixing bowl.

  6. Mix together ingredients and then stuff each bell pepper with equal amounts of mixture

  7. Place about one inch of water in the bottom of casserole dish.

  8. Optional: Top with additional tomato sauce and low fat shredded cheese.

  9. Bake in oven for 34-40mins @ 350 degrees.

  10. Serve with tossed salad or low calorie mashed potatoes

  11. Enjoy
