Bell peppers stuffed with ground beef.

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed bell peppers

16 oz Ground Beef
2 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Red
8 oz Tomato Sauce
1 large Egg, Whole
4 tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Stuffed bell peppers

  1. cut bell peppers in half, take seeds out of the middle.

  2. place them in a baking dish, halves up, like little bowls

  3. mix beef, egg, seasonings of choice.

  4. bake at 350 for 30 minutes

  5. add seasonings of choice (oregano, italian seasoning, garlic salt suggested) to tomato sauce in a bowl

  6. after 30 minutes in the oven, remove peppers and drizzle tomato sauce over the top of peppers

  7. place in over for another 15 minutes

  8. remove from oven sprinkle cheese evenly.

  9. bake for 5 - 10 more minutes
