Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe

Makes 9 servings



These freeze well. Stuff the mixture in raw peppers. Stand them up in a pan and freeze. Remove from freezer and wrap them individually. Place in freezer bag. Thaw and heat in microwave.

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Bell Peppers

9 bell peppers, green, medium
1 lb. ground beef
1/3 cup onion
1/2 t. salt
1 dash of pepper
16 ounce tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup brown rice
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Bell Peppers

  1. Cut tops off bell peppers; remove seeds and membrane.

  2. Brown meat with onion. Add salt and pepper. Stir in tomatoes, rice, water, and 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stuff peppers and plae in 10x6x1 1/2-inch baking dish. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes.
