Turkey sausage, brown rice & veggie stuffed peppers

Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed bell peppers

2 red bell peppers
2 yellow bell peppers
2 1/2 orange bell peppers
5 turkey sausage links
1 onion
8 oz tomato sauce
1 1/4 cup instant brown rice
1 1/4 cup water

Recipe Directions for Stuffed bell peppers

  1. Saute

  2. 1 chopped onion

  3. 1 chopped bell pepper

  4. 5 turkey sausage links opened up & skin removed

  5. drain then add

  6. 1 1/4 cup instant brown rice

  7. 1 1/4 water

  8. 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce

  9. mix and stuff the peppers

  10. cook @ 350 for 1 hour (you can shorten the time by placing clean unstuffed peppers in the microwave for a minute or two to soften before baking)
