Recipe Ingredients for Stuffed Bell Peppers

6 tsp Garlic
16 oz Ground Beef - 85% lean
4 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
3 tsp, leaves Thyme, Dried
29 oz Tomato Sauce
14.5 oz Red Gold Diced Tomatoes Roasted Garlic and Onion
1 onion Yellow Onion
8 tbsp Agave Nectar
8 serving Jasmine Rice

Recipe Directions for Stuffed Bell Peppers

  1. brown ground beef with onion and garlic.

  2. cook jasmine rice according to directions to make 2 cups.

  3. mix one can of the tomato sauce with 4 tbsp of the agave.

  4. blend together the beef mixture, rice, tomato sauce mixture, thyme and can of diced tomato's.

  5. wash green peppers, cut in half lengthwise and remove seeds.

  6. stuff each pepper with the mixture and bake at 350.

  7. mix the other can of tomato sauce and the remaining 4 tbsps of agave.

  8. spoon some over the stuffed pepper in small amounts every 15 minutes. when green pepper is tender it is done (approx 60-75 minutes)
