Recipe Ingredients for Strogonoff

16 oz chicken breasts
1 yellow onion
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
2 teaspoons paprika
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons water
6 oz Plain Fat-Free Yogurt
4 oz No Yolk egg noodles

Recipe Directions for Strogonoff

  1. Prepare pasta according to directions.

  2. Cut chicken into strips.

  3. Spray pan with cooking spray.

  4. Add chicken.

  5. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

  6. Add the onion, mushrooms, and paprika, and cook 2 minutes longer, continuing to stir.

  7. Add the 1/4 c water. Reduce the heat to moderate, cover, and cook an additional 2 minutes.

  8. Meanwhile, combine the flour and 3 tbsp Water in a small bowl.

  9. Add the mixture to the skillet and cook, stirring rapidly, until the mixture thickens - about 1 minute.

  10. Add the yogurt and stir until heated through. DO NOT LET THE MIXTURE COME TO A BOIL.
