Recipe Ingredients for Strawberry Salad with CInnamon Vinaigrette

3 tbsp. olive oil
3 tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. Tabasco
1/4 tsp. salt
1 dash of pepper
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
11 oz. Mandarin Oranges, drained
1/2 pound strawberries, stemmed and quartered
1/2 small red onion, peeled and sliced
1/2 avocado, peeled and sliced
1/2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped and toasted

Recipe Directions for Strawberry Salad with CInnamon Vinaigrette

  1. In a jar or cruet, combine olive oil, vinegar, sugar, Tabasco, salt, pepper, and cinnamon. Shake well and chill for at least 2 hours.

  2. In a large bowl, combine lettuce, oranges, strawberries, red onion, avocado, and pecans. Add half the dressing and toss to coat.

  3. Pass the remaining dressing.
