This is what I do to make quick breakfast ahead of time.

Recipe Ingredients for Strawberry Oatmeal, Make-Ahead Five Meals

20 oz skim milk
1 1/4 cup steel cut oats
1 lb strawberries
75 g light brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Strawberry Oatmeal, Make-Ahead Five Meals

  1. In large pot, combine oats, milk, and 20 oz of water. Add five pinches of salt. Bring to a boil, and then reduce to simmer. Let cook until thickened, and stirring with a spoon reveals the pan's bottom.

  2. Refrigerate oatmeal.

  3. Each morning, slice 3.2 oz of strawberries and mix with brown sugar. Let sit for five minutes.

  4. Meanwhile, heat one fifth of oatmeal with a splash of water for 2 1/2 minutes. Top oatmeal with strawberry mixture.
