Makes 12 servings



Low-fat, whole wheat muffins. You can add a few drops of vanilla or almond extract for extra flavor, if you wish.

Recipe Ingredients for Strawberry Muffins

2 cups whole wheat flour (WW pastry flour)
1/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Sea salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 large egg, beaten
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 cup nonfat yogurt
1 1/2 cups Strawberries, chopped

Recipe Directions for Strawberry Muffins

  1. Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl, the wet ingredients in another. Stir the wet into the dry very gently. Do not over mix. Fold in the strawberries.

  2. Put the batter in a prepared muffin pan and bake at 375 for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean.
