Easy ice cream and not too bad on calories, either.

Recipe Ingredients for Strawberry Ice Cream

1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk 1%
16 oz strawberries, chopped
1/2 cup Splenda

Recipe Directions for Strawberry Ice Cream

  1. Place chopped strawberries in a blender. In a small, freezable bowl combine cream, milk, and sugar substitute.

  2. Turn on blender and slowly add sugar mixture to blender through top opening. Blend thoroughly.

  3. When consistency of blended mixture is to your liking (creamy, chunky, somewhere in between, etc), transfer mixture to original mixing bowl.

  4. Apply lid to bowl or use plastic food wrap and press down on top of mixture to let excess oxygen escape.

  5. Place bowl in freezer and allow at least 2-3 hours to set.

  6. When ready to serve, consider using fresh strawberries or mint as toppings.
