Recipe Ingredients for Strawberry Banana Yogurt Muffins


Dry:
1 c. Quick Quaker Oats
1 c. wheat flour
3 tbl Flax Seed
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbl baking powder
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Wet:
1 c. strawberry yogurt
1 egg
1/4 c. honey
2 tbl organic whole milk
1/4 c Applesauce
2 ripe bananas (Mashed)

Recipe Directions for Strawberry Banana Yogurt Muffins

  1. In a food processor add the dry ingredients in the order listed. Pulse after each addition, this will brake down the oat meal a bit.

  2. In a medium to large bowl whisk all of the wet ingredients (except the bananas) together.

  3. Add the dry into the wet and combined until just moistened (do not over mix)

  4. Add the mashed bananas and stir until blended (again do not over mix)

  5. Fill muffin tins about 2/3 full (I got 18 muffins out of this recipe) (don't forget to oil the muffin tins.

  6. Bake at 400 for 20-25 min or until golden.
