Recipe Ingredients for stove top mac & cheese

13 1/4 oz whole wheat macaroni
12 oz evaporated skim milk
2 tbsp corn starch
3 cups reduced fat cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup panko

Recipe Directions for stove top mac & cheese

  1. reserve 1/4 cup evaporated milk

  2. heat milk & 3 cups water to boil

  3. add pasta and cook according to package

  4. stir together corn starch & reserved milk

  5. add slurry & cheese to pasta

  6. saute garlic in butter until soft add panko

  7. top mac & cheese with panko
