Slow-Cooker rustic style chicken with vegetables.

Recipe Ingredients for Stout Simmered Chicken

12 oz (3) boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 cloves garlic
1 medium onion
12 oz beer (use strong stout)
6 oz tomato paste
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
1 c carrots, sliced
1/2 c celery, sliced
4 oz prunes
9 button mushrooms
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Recipe Directions for Stout Simmered Chicken

  1. Add everything except chicken to crock-pot stirring well to combine tomato paste.

  2. Place chicken on top and press down into liquid.

  3. Cook on high for around 2 hours.

  4. Reduce to low and cook 8 to 10 hours.
