Recipe Ingredients for Stir Fry Chicken with Garlic Sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. honey
3 tbsp. vegetable oil, divided
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1 1/5 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
1/4 c. onions
2 cups green beans
1 cup carrots

Recipe Directions for Stir Fry Chicken with Garlic Sauce

  1. Combine garlic, soy sauce, water, honey, 1 tablespoon oil, cornstarch and pepper. Stir chicken into marinade and mix to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours, stirring once to twice.

  2. In large skillet, heat remaining oil. Using slotted spoon, transfer chicken to skillet. Stir-fry about 5 minutes. Add reserved marinade; continue to cook and stir about 30 seconds until thickened. Remove to platter. Garnish with green onion.

  3. Could add snow peas, green beans, mushrooms, whatever, for minimal calories.
