Tasty bean sprout dish (or togue in Filipino) that is certainly filling. Great for lunch or early dinner.

Recipe Ingredients for stir fry bean sprouts with pork and tofu

200 g bean sprouts
250 g lean pork
50 g carrots
200 g firm tofu
1 large white onion
1 medium green peppers
2 (g g) red peppers
10 g ginger
4 garlic cloves
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp fish sauce
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce

Recipe Directions for stir fry bean sprouts with pork and tofu

  1. - rub pepper and fish sauce on pork, then stirfry on 3 tbsp of olive oil, once browned on the outside, set aside

  2. - on the same pan, lightly brown the firm tofu then set aside

  3. - next, stirfry garlic, onion, ginger, and peppers then add a cup of water, cook until boiling

  4. - once boiling, put in ork again and bring down to a simmer for 30 minutes or until pork is tender

  5. - add in the carrots and simmer for 5minutes, then add the bean sprouts and simmer again for 3 Minutes.

  6. - add the tofu back in, cover and turn off the heat

  7. Serves 4
