A quick dish - boiled noodles, stir-fried with veggies & Tofu flavoured with chicken bouillon.

Recipe Ingredients for Stir-fried Wholewheat Noodles with Tofu & veggies

1 tsp canola oil
1 clove garlic, sliced
2 g ginger, cut into thin strips
63 g firm tofu, crumbled
30 g broccoli, diced
30 g cauliflower, diced
50 g mushrooms, diced
20 g red bell pepper, sliced
30 g iceberg lettuce, shredded
3 g chicken bouillon (1/4 cube)
50 g wholewheat noodles (dry weight)
1/8 tsp sesame oil

Recipe Directions for Stir-fried Wholewheat Noodles with Tofu & veggies

  1. Cook noodles as per package instructions, drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

  2. Heat oil on medium heat. Sauté garlic & ginger till just soft, add in tofu and cook for 3 mins.

  3. Add in broccoli & cauliflower. After a minute or so, add in peppers. When peppers are beginning to soften add in lettuce and crumble over the bouillon cube. Stir well to coat.

  4. Add in noodles, stir and cook to heat up noodles.

  5. Remove from heat and drizzle over the sesame oil. Toss lightly before serving.
