Recipe Ingredients for Stir fried chickpeas (guggillu)

1 tbsp Rice Bran Oil

Recipe Directions for Stir fried chickpeas (guggillu)

  1. Boil the chickpeas in a cooker or microwave until they are cooked but firm enough to retain their shape

  2. Fry south indian seasonings ( t/2 tsp of black mustard (avalu), a pinch of asofetida and 2 chopped green chilis) in one tbsp of vegetable oil

  3. Add chopped onions and fry till the onions are cooked.

  4. Add the boiled chickpeas and salt to taste.
