Sticky Chicken Recipe

Makes 8 servings



NOT DIET but delicious slow-cooked chicken. Great recipe for Sunday noon - start it in the morning and if the preacher goes a little long it won't burn. Unfortunately this works with thighs or drumsticks, but not with chicken breast.

Recipe Ingredients for Sticky Chicken

2 1/2 pounds chicken thighs
1 packet onion soup mix
8 oz. fat free catalina dressing
8 oz. orange marmalade
4 cups rice, cooked

Recipe Directions for Sticky Chicken

  1. Preheat oven to 225.

  2. Place 2.5 pounds of frozen IQF chicken thighs in 9 x 13 casserole dish. Sprinkle with onion soup mix. Stir salad dressing and marmalade together (make sure it is SWEET orange marmalade) and pour over chicken.

  3. Bake for 2.5 - 3 hours or until chicken is done. Longer won't hurt since the oven is so low.

  4. Serve over cooked rice.
