Sticky Brown Sugar and Pecan Buns

Recipe Ingredients for Sticky Brown Sugar and Pecan Buns

1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold, cut into 12 pieces
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup pecans
2 piece sheets puff pastry
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Sticky Brown Sugar and Pecan Buns

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place one piece of butter in each cup of a 12 cup muffin tin. Top with brown sugar, then with pecans.

  2. Unfold puff pastry onto a cutting board. Rub half the cinnamon onto one side. Cut into 6 1 1/2 inch strips. Loosely twist then shape into a round coil. Place coils into the muffin cups. Repeat with remaining puff pastry and cinnamon.

  3. Bake until puffed and gold brown, 20 to 22 minutes. Turn onto cooling racks and let cool 5 minutes before serving.
