Simple tomato sauce using italian plum tomatoes in heavy syrup with no added sugar. Use with Spaghetti squash.

Recipe Ingredients for Stewed Tomatoes and Onions Sauce

3 cups tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 small onion, diced
1 garlic clove
1/4 cup celery
2 tablespoons olive oil

Recipe Directions for Stewed Tomatoes and Onions Sauce

Saute veggiesand red pepper flakes in a little olive oil. When translucent and soft add 28 oz. can of diced italian plum tomatoes and a bay leaf. Simmer. Shortly before serving add some italian herbs. Simmer a little longer then serve over spaghetti squash.
