Stewed Red Beans is very gassy, but very healthy. It's called red peas in Jamaica.

Recipe Ingredients for Stewed Red beans

1 cup Beans, Kidney, Red, Mature Seeds
1 tbsp Ketchup
0.125 oz Fusion Sweet Chilli and Red Pepper Flavour
1 tbsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Stewed Red beans

Red beans are really hard so they need to soak overnight. Softening with a pressure cooker would be best but if you don't have one, boiling them in a regular pot would work. Just expect to boil them for a very long time (over an hour) till the beans start to burst open. Whether boiling or using the pressure cooker, add lots of green seasonsings like chives, celery, parsley along with onions and garlic. After they have burst, add salt and black pepper to taste. I like to add a bit of ketchup and chilli pepper for extra flavour.
