Stewed Chicken- like a thickened chicken soup- with vegetables, perfect served over rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Stewed Chicken and Vegetables

12 leg, bone and skin removed Chicken, Leg, Meat Only
32 oz Stew Vegetables
1/2 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached

Recipe Directions for Stewed Chicken and Vegetables

Boil chicken in salted and peppered water (legs should be covered) until almost done. Skim scum off top. Add vegetables, simmer about 30 minutes. Mix flour with about 1-1.5 cups of water to form a thin paste. Pour into pot, stirring constantly, to thicken. Let simmer for another 10- 15 minutes at reduced heat.
