Recipe Ingredients for Stewed Cabbage

1/2 cup vegetable broth
1 onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
908 g cabbage
29 ounce stewed tomatoes, with liquid

Recipe Directions for Stewed Cabbage

  1. Heat broth in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and garlic and saute for 3 to 5 minutes, or until translucent. Stir in cabbage, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 15 minutes.

  2. Pour in tomatoes and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover pan and cook over medium heat for 30 to 40 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
