Stewed apples 'n' onions, made with Splenda; makes 6 half-cup servings

Recipe Ingredients for Stewed apples 'n' onions

5 medium apples
1 large yellow onion
1 Pam spray
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp Splenda

Recipe Directions for Stewed apples 'n' onions

  1. Spray 6-qt saucepan with Pam till coated. Heat on medium heat.

  2. Slice onions in half, then against the grain in thin slices. Turn 1/4 turn Make about 4 cuts lengthwise.

  3. Add onions to heated pan.

  4. Cut apples into thin slices and add to pan with onions.

  5. Add cinnamon, nutmeg & Splenda.

  6. Cook over medium low heat until soft. The spices should carmelize in the apple/onion juice.

  7. Serve while hot; it's gooooood eatin!
