Home cooked stewed apple and rhubarb

Recipe Ingredients for Stewed apple and rhubarb

1 1/4 kg Granny smith apples
150 g rhubarb
1/4 cup white wine
1 tspn cinnamon
1 tspn nutmeg
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for Stewed apple and rhubarb

  1. Slice Rhubarb

  2. Add to saucepan with spices and liquids

  3. Add half the apple (chopped)

  4. Cook over medium heat, without stirring until starts to soften

  5. Stir

  6. Add remaining apples (chopped), stir in and reduce heat to low

  7. Cook until desired softness
