A creamy borscht good hot or cold

Recipe Ingredients for Stephanie's Borscht

2 pound beets
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 medium onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 tsp garlic, chopped
5 cups chicken stock, heated
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled
16 tbsp sour cream
16 oz baby back ribs

Recipe Directions for Stephanie's Borscht

Clean beets and steam for half an hour. Then carrots, onions and garlic in chicken stock until tender. Puree beets, stock, and back rib meat. Serve with sour cream and julienned apple pieces.
