1 cup steel cut oats
1/2 cup golden raisins
5 dates
1 dash of allspice
1 dash of cinnamon
1 dash of nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Steel cut oats with dates, raisins, and spices

Cook steel cut oats according to directions. Cut up dates into small pieces. After oats have been cooking for 10 minutes, put remaining ingredients into pot. Allow to cool slightly before eating. Serves 4
